Whether you are using a green screen, backdrop or your home or office as the background for your video, you need to keep a few things in mind.
Your audience's attention is easily distracted. Try and keep your background simple. You want your audience to be focused on you and your message, not what books are in your bookshelf, did you really shoot that in Paris or what the rest of the painting looks like.
Simple, clean and well lit will serve you best, unless the background is essential to your message.
